Spree-ed!

Haven't spree-ed for a long-time, methinks. Just ordered some stuffs.

A shirt from F21 which will PROLLY make me look slimmer. Can wear for work and play. :D

Also from F21. The front looks... normal. But I'm liking the details at the back. Wings!

A nice, simple leather bracelet for everyday wear from F21.

...and a body-shaping cream. I know the boyfriend will read this and start nagging about why I am wasting money on slimming products. By the way I bought this in Milk Rose flavour. I'm a sucker for Rose-flavoured stuff, which is why I fell for this in the first place. At least I can use this purposefully as a body moisturizer (if the slimming function doesn't work). :D

Eyeing the leggings from Uniqlo too, but we shall save that for another day.

Yay or nay?

My family decided on a PINK theme for CNY. WTF I am so not a pink person.

Pieced together an outfit from Wetseal... Too casual? Too simple? Too ugly?

Yay or nay? I don't trust myself. No idea what to do for shoes yet.

Happy New Year, whoever's out there. *waves*

I counted down in Kaoshiung. That was cool. The fireworks were pretty fab, but lonely without the bf. :(

Okays, here are my New Year Resolutions (which would not likely happen due to my procrastination habit, but whatever):

1) Lose 10kg. *sob*
2) Treat the bf better. XD
3) Get driving license.
4) Continue learning Japanese.
5) Buy this purple Ted Baker watch I REALLY like.
6) Buy Sony DSC-HX1 which has awesome zoom
7) Netbook. I'm gaining muscle carrying my lappy around.
8) Buy more clothes. My wardrobe is yuck.
9) Buy more bags. I need variety man.

and...

10) Save more money and spend less.

:D

It's a date, hun.

Heading to GCA '09 (Games Convention Asia) at Suntec with the boyfriend tomorrow. Looking forward! :)

Nothing much to post recently... Life's pretty mundane, yep. I decided to pick up my ass and start learning driving again (er, after passing my FTT), and am thinking of trying out acupuncture slimming (the boyfriend will probably be against it, but I shall be a rebel *cackles*).

Had a chat with darling on Friday morning over breakfast (yummy vegetarian bee hoon!), and realized that I should get a move on what I'm supposed to do with my life. Bumming around gets me nowhere, and whining about it is ridiculous. Life is too short to have time to laze around. Thanks love. :)

Resolution: Lose enough weight to wear a cheongsam for next year's CNY! *determined*

Tips on Storing Mooncakes

Since the Mid-Autumn Festival is around the corner, I shall dedicate a post on how to store mooncakes.

  • Mooncakes actually have a fairly long shelf-life due to their high sugar content, and will of course last longer if they're stored in vacuum packaging.
  • The mooncakes should be stored in a cool place, and not exposed to heat (i.e. don't place your box on top of the microwave oven, or in your car boot).
  • Baked mooncakes (the "original" kind) can be kept for up to three months, and snow-skin mooncakes can be kept for ten to twenty days if stored in temperatures between 5°C and 6°C (the usual fridge would do fine).
  • Mooncakes without egg yolks are yummier if consumed after three months.
